DALnet URL-based Chat Instructions

STEP-BY-STEP

Go to DALnet (www.dal.net).

At the bottom of the page there's a place for you to enter a nickname. 

After you've clicked on Go!, a pop-up chat window appears. 

You are automatically put into the chat room #DALnetJava.  Once the window stops scrolling info, you type "/join #Lallygabbers" (without the quotation marks) (or whatever room you're trying to get to), then Enter. 

The room name at the top of the window will change.

Type your comments in the same window where  your wrote /join #Lallygabbers, hit Enter, and your text and the other chatters' text will appear in the window above.

When you want to leave, just click on the disconnect and you're outta there :-D
