01.12.01 - Christmas is here, and checking the LallyOrnament Exchange 2001 Home Page is a great way to get in the mood. Outstanding job, Ladies! here are a lot of new photos at Murthog's Travels. Go and see all the hosers he has been visiting recently! Lady Carmen sent in the new Polish cover for Dragonfly in Amber. Thanks!

01.11.28 - Added several new articles and interviews with Diana Gabaldon to the links page. The lazy hosers who do not scroll the entire page should not miss a really interesting article about the origins of the Fiery Cross. Thank you to the ladies who sent these! Diana Gabaldon is Featured Author at Bantam Dell, and they've put up a page with Outlander Saga Wallpapers, that you can download and use on your computer. The French Hosers have a brand new beautiful site: La Porte de Pierre - Le Site. Even those who don't understand French should visit, because it's really easy to navigate, and it has a lovely fan art gallery. Thank you to Lady Johanne for sending in the link! Lady Jeanne sent in the beautiful new covers for the Québec Loisirs editions , and Lady Carmen sent in the scan for a new German cover Outlander and the new covers for the abridged audio tapes Thank you. ladies! 01.10.16 - New Board! We added a board just to discuss The Fiery Cross: http://voy.com/9270/. Lady Carmen sent in the new UK covers for The Fiery Cross and the new covers for the abridged audio CDs. Lady M&M sent us the links to the archives of two very hosed contests: the Companion Contest and the Jamie Vanity Plate Contest. You do not want to miss these! :-) October Book-of-the-Month! Lady Jewell recommends The Mitford Series, by Jan Karon. I've added the link to the Anita Blake Board to the Associate Boards drop-down menu on the left. A lot of LOLers are also fans of these Laurell K. Hamilton books, so if you're one of them there's a neat place to discuss these books, and if you haven't read them yet, have a look at Lady Shadow's review. Lady Charyl has revamped Hammie Visits the Hosers page. Give it a look, because there are lot of new visit reports.

01.07.14 - The Gallery of Covers now features the full set of covers for the new "Collectors Edition", and it's a really beautiful set... Thanks, Lady Carmen!

01.07.08 - New Book-of-the-Month! This month Lady Sylkie recommends Prince Ombra, by Roderick MacLeish. Thanks! New book by Diana Gabaldon: Naked Came the Phoenix, a mystery, is a collaborative work by 13 women mystery writers. More details at the Books by Diana Gabaldon page. Lady Carmen sent in scans of several new covers, including the covers for the new CDs with the abridged audio books of Outlander and Dragonfly in Amber. Check them all in the gallery of covers. There's a new guest at the wallpaper gallery: Russell Crowe (from Lady KristinS); I've also received new photos for Hugh Jackman, from Lady Jennifer, and Jon Bon Jovi, from Lady Robyn Bon Jovi ;-) By now Murthog has collected more "frequent flyer" miles, than any other hedgehog in the known universe. 01.06.15 - New Book-of-the-Month! This month Lady SylviaA recommends the "In Death" series, by J.D.Robb. There will be new US paperback editions of The Books this summer, and Lady Carmen found the new covers for Dragonfly in Amber, Voyager and Drums of Autumn, all to be published next August. They are all in the same style of the new cover for The Fiery Cross, and I've added them to the gallery of covers. Lady Daisri sent us the link to her homepage: Welcome to the Glen. Lots of MIKs ;-) Lady Faith, from Austria, who did three of the drawings in our Outlandish Illustration page, sent us the link to her home page: Faith's Homepage, where you can find more of her beautiful art work. We have three new lads in the wallpaper gallery: Oded Fehr (from Lady Aislinn), Hugh Jackman (from Lady DianaH) and Jon Bon Jovi (courtesy of Lady JeanMc.) Diana Gabaldon wrote an introduction for "A Plague of Angels" by P. F. Chisholm, published last October 2000 by Poisoned Pen Press. More details on the Books by Diana Gabaldon page. Lady Carmen sent in the link to The cave of Lascaux, a beautiful site with cave paintings like the ones Jamie and Claire saw in Dragonfly in Amber. Thanks! If you want to embelish your ICQ with a Outlandish ICQ skin, go over to Scotty's ICQ Skins page and download the  LAllybroch ICQ Skin. Scotty even put up very easy to follow explanations on how to install ICQ skins. And even if you don't use ICQ, Scotty's page is well worth the visit, because it's full of great tips and useful information. Too neat! :-) There are lots of new photos in the Murthog travels home page, so don't forget to go there and check Murthog's hosts.

01.05.05 - Diana Gabaldon wrote an introduction for a new edition of Ivanhoe, by Sir Walter Scott, to be published by Modern Library on July 10, 2001. More details on the Books by Diana Gabaldon page. Lady Brianna sent us a truly gorgeous Outlandish Illustration, for our collection! Thank you! Although the Jamie-isms have been closed some time ago (watch out for more new entries when The Fiery Cross comes out!), Lady Jae sent in such a good Jamie-ism, we just had to add it! You can find it easily, because it's the only entry from Chapter 44 in the Dragonfly in Amber Jamie-isms. Thank you! 01.04.08 - New Feature! We now have a LOL Book of the Month Recommendation. We've asked the Hosers to share their thoughts about books they loved (other books they loved!), and now we have the first recommendation, by Lady Shadow. Thanks to Lady Shadow for the review, and to Lady SharonB and Lady Char2, for coordinating this project. Lady Carmen sent us a scan of the cover for the new Dutch edition of Drums of Autumn. Lady AndreaS sent us the link for her Scotland 2000 travel diary and photos. Beautiful photos and very fun to read diary...Thank you, Lady Andrea!

01.03.26 -  Out of Avalon is going to be published in the US. This anthology includes The Castellan, a short story by Diana Gabaldon and her son Samuel Watkins, that had only been published in German and Dutch before. More details in the Diana Gabaldon's books page and thank you to Lady Carmen for the info. Our most heartfelt congratulations to the two ladies who just had their own books published: Lady Vina (Vina Hutchinson), with Images of America - New Bern, and Lady LizLiz (Elizabeth Kingsbury) with The Invisible Woman. Way to go, ladies! Three  new additions to the wallpaper gallery: Dolph Lundgren, from Lady Kursten, Gerard Butler, from Lady Patte and Lady HollyL, and from Lady Ana, in Spain, Jeremy Irons. Hammie has moved to a new home too. Hammie's Hosed Adventures board is now at  http://www.voy.com/17053/, and Hammie was last seen visiting Julie Ann. Recently chatting about Outlandish matters with a friend, she pointed to me that we'd left out of the "you know you're hosed when..." pages a very serious symptom, instantly recognizable by all the hosed ones, so, I've added it to the list. 01.02.04 - Tons of updates! Lallybroch for sale! Really! Lady Carmen got us the link. Click here! Lady Louise sent us the link to her beautiful Home Page, full of interesting Outlandish reading material: Louise's Home Page - Craigh na Dun.Go and see Lady SilviaH's beautiful Scotland 2000 photos.  Men in kilts... ;-) Lady Stefanie has got a great interview with Diana. It's posted in her website, in English and in German. Thank you, Lady Carmen for the info! Also from Lady Carmen, the proof that, as she puts it, there are "other hosed minds" out there: click here for Murtagh. Through a search engine, I found the transcript to a chat with Diana, that took place last April 2000.It's not very long, but worth a look: Diana Gabaldon chat with BookMoms. Lady Carmen sent us notice of several new editions of Diana Gabaldon's books: the Dutch edition of the Out of Avalon Anthology, by De Boekerij, including the short story The Castellan, that Diana wrote with her son, Sam Watkins, was out in January; then in March 2001, the Dutch edition of Drums of Autumn,  Het Vuur van de Herfst, will also be out, by Meulenhoff Publ.; and in April 2001, it's time for the paperback edition of the Mothers and Sons Anthology. Mothers and Sons includes the short story Mirror Image, also written by Diana and Sam Watkins. Lady Carmen also sent us the covers for our cover gallery.
