Before you proceed, just a word reminding everyone that Compuserve is Diana Gabaldon's home in the net. Since Diana, Herself, put this information on The Outlandish Companion, this isn't a secret. But we wouldn't like our link to the Writers Forum and these instructions be used to "bother" Diana in what is, in her own words, her "electronic haunt". Please don't post Off Topic questions or comments. But then, we're sure an Outlandish fan would know better than to do that, right? :-)

So, to start, go to the Compuserve Books and Writers Community.

On the left, you'll see a list of Board Folders. Scroll down to the one named Diana GABALDON. Click on that folder.

You should now see a list of topics being discussed in that section. Click on the topic of interest to read the discussion.

Note that there is a search function on the site if you have a specific topic in mind. You should see it on the right hand side of the page. There is an advanced search function as well.

One other note: each message is numbered. A search for a specific message may be made if its number is known. This can be useful if a message number is posted on the boards, for example. It can also be useful if one wants to alert hosers to a particular topic being discussed at Compuserve, but doesn't know how to make a link.
